Learn mathematics via effective concepts & interesting exercises

The edge of Fox Mathematics is that we deliver practical mathematics knowledge through effective and interesting classes with building up the concepts by effective exercises, hence to assist students in developing their logical thinking as well as other problem solving skills.  Our unique teaching method, Shortcut Reasoning®, makes students learn math without difficulty and build up an excellent skill in problem solving.  This kind of skill is useful for everyone, regardless of the age, profession and background.

TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) performed a comparison of Mathematics and Science academic achievement in 2007, 36 countries participated at grade four and 48 countries participated at grade eight.  Students in Asia on average have better results in Mathematics:

Grade 4 (Total: 36 nations)

Grade 8 (Total: 48 nations)

Mathematics is the foundation of logical thinking and science.  Poor mathematics foundation hinders the future academic development of students.  In view of this, Fox Mathematics has developed a series of educational programs to improve the math power of Grade 1 to Grade 12 students in Canada.

Our unique teaching methodology Shortcut Reasoning® is developed based on the mathematical trainings in the Asian countries and enhanced by a group of educators.  Our key factors include:

1)      Clear reasoning – Focus on the understanding of the underlying logics.

2)      Key points – Identification of key points and highlight for focus.

3)      Problem solving – Students will be exposed to various forms of problems in the same topics.  Effectively develop their skills and speed of problem solving.

Since our math teachers have gone through the learning processes of different mathematics subjects, they know exactly what kinds of tricks your kids need to know and what types of common mistakes students will make.  They can assist your kids in the following areas:

  • Arithmetic – Faster

  • Inductions – More Logical

  • Applied Mathematics – Feel Funny

  • Mathematical Theories – Become Comprehensible

  • Problem Solving – More Analytical

  • Mathematical Concepts – Much Clear

After a few months of training, our students show a big improvement in their math studies.  In addition to good academic results for the current year, your kids will:

  • Get better results in the coming years

  • Love mathematics and be self motivated to learn

  • Develop a sense of logical thinking

  • Be able to apply the logical sense to all other subjects: physics, health science, even literature

  • Be able to apply the skills in their life time study, work, investment and more.

Our Programs

We offer small group tutorials (6 students or fewer in each class).  Junior students are assigned with tasks individually until they can master the basic techniques of mathematics.  Senior students are grouped together to have lectures on more advanced topics.

Duration of each lesson: 1 hour
